WITNESS STATEMENT

As I was waiting in the bank I heared the squeal of tyres. The bank was extremely crowded with people because it was a Saturday afternoon.

Two guys carrying guns came in. Meanwhile, another man was waiting outside in a car. Then one of them shouted ' This is a robbery, everybody lie down on the floor !' The women started shrieking frightfully. I couldn't see the robbers' faces because they were wearing black balaclavas. It looked like a really good action film. While the robbers were standing with their small-arms, the clerk was pouring cash into an enormous suitcase. They didn't look like professional robbers because they were anxious and their weapons were shaking in their hands. It was poignant. Luckily, the incident was noticed by a passer-by who phoned the police. After a while, the man who was sitting in car, got out and shot the passer-by in the leg.

Bout ten minutes later I heared the sirens of an ambulance and the police. The ambulance took the victim to hospital. Later. The police shouted: ' You're surrounded , you haven't got any chance to escape !' Without any protest the robbers dropped their weapons and lay down on the ground. After that they were arrested.
